FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR SEMI-DRIED AGEN PRUNES
Each reference offers a different tasting experience depending on its size:
Our Organic Prunes (55/66 - Large): In organic farming, the fruit is naturally slightly smaller. This size is ideal because it is easy to snack on throughout the day. Since they are pitted, they are the ultimate healthy snack for quick and convenient consumption.
Our HVE3/Non-Organic Prunes (44/55 - Very Large): This is a superior size. Fleshier and more generous, they offer a more substantial texture. This is the preferred format for those seeking an exceptional, high-volume fruit to serve on a platter or to enjoy as a gourmet treat in its own right.
In short: Choose Organic for its convenience (easy snacking) and natural purity, or non-organic for the indulgence of a fleshier fruit.
The main difference is themoisture content. A "dried" prune contains less than 30% moisture and is firmer. Our pruneis semi-driedis dried just enough to retain35% humidity, which gives it anexceptional softnessand a fruitier taste, as it has been dried without artificial rehydration.
