THE RARITY: WHY FRENCH DRIED GRAPES ARE EXCEPTIONAL

While most dried grapes on the market are sourced from warmer climates (such as Turkey, the USA, or South Africa), French production remains a true rarity due to two major challenges:

- A Temperate Climate:
In Southwest France, the weather is more temperate, meaning the grapes cannot be dried by the sun alone. Instead, they require a longer, highly technical dehydration process to reach perfection.

- Artisanal Labor: Every step—harvesting, de-stemming, and manual sorting—is incredibly labor-intensive. These traditional methods significantly increase production costs, making our dried grapes a rare, artisanal product that is incomparable to mass-market alternatives.

Please note:
Due to our limited small-batch production, they won't last long. There unfortunately won't be enough for everyone this year! ;-)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR SOFT DRIED GRAPES

Thanks to their tender texture and intense flavor, our raisins are incredibly versatile. Enjoy them on their own for a healthy, energizing snack—ideal for a quick boost before or after exercise, as they are naturally rich in iron and fiber.
They are also a perfect addition to your baking, naturally sweetening muffins, cakes, or gingerbread. For those who love sweet and savory combinations, they pair beautifully with dishes like couscous, tagines, or game meats. Finally, stir them into your muesli or porridge for a delicious, wholesome breakfast.

More fragile than a raisin, our soft raisins are pasteurised for better preservation.
Once the packet is opened, store them in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks,or freeze them to extend their shelf life.

The difference lies in the drying method and the final moisture content. While traditional raisins are often dehydrated to a very low moisture level, making them tough, our semi-dried raisins are slowly processed to retain their natural juices.
This artisanal technique is what makes them unique: they are fleshy, succulent, and literally melt in your mouth. It is a pure gourmet pleasure, offering a tender bite without the need for rehydration!
