Today, only a handful of farmers manage to grow peanuts in France. Raw, our peanuts have a pea-like taste. Once roasted, they have an exquisite buttery-nutty flavour.

Ourunsalted roasted peanutsare a concentrate of nutrients. They are particularly rich in:

  • Plant proteins: Essential for satiety and muscle mass.
  • Unsaturated fats: "Good fats" that contribute to good cardiovascular health.
  • Fibre, Vitamin E, and Magnesium: Key micronutrients for tone and cellular protection.

 

Yes! Contrary to their reputation, our natural peanuts (without added salt or oil) are very beneficial. They are excellent for cardiovascular health. Thanks to their unsaturated fats and antioxidants. Moreover, they are very filling and fit perfectly into a balanced diet.

As with all nuts, moderation is key. The recommended portion is about 25 to 30 grams per day, which is equivalent to a small handful. This amount allows you to fully enjoy the benefits of our peanuts (fibre, protein) without adding excess calories.

The difference is significant and lies on three levels:

  1. Origin and Taste: Ours are French, grown in Gironde, and roasted on the farm without added salt, revealing theirnatural and exquisite nutty-butter taste. naturel et exquis.
  2. Freshness: Our short supply chain (direct from producer) ensures a fresh stock, managed under optimal conditions.
  3. Safety (Mycotoxins): Imported or poorly stored peanuts can be subject to Aflatoxins (mycotoxins). Thanks to our control over all stages of production - processing - packaging, we ensure total traceability and impeccable quality!

FRENCH PEANUTS, A RARE PRODUCT


The cultivation of peanuts in France, complex and rare, has been mastered by a few persevering farmers, despite climatic challenges.


It all begins with the pollination of a yellow flower, which then burrows into the ground to form a hard shell containing the peanuts. After a harvest at full maturity, the sorting stage is crucial to select the best seeds. Nature does not only provide us with pretty peanuts, so this is essential for optimal quality. These peanuts, delicately roasted and naturally tasty, are enjoyed without added salt, for an authentic taste.

The amazing taproot of the peanut 

The quality of ourGironde peanuts rests on the alchemy between the plant and our terroir. Thanks to its powerful taproot, the plant anchors deeply into our sandy and light soils of the South-West. This draining soil structure is crucial: it allows the root to draw water and minerals from deep down, while facilitating the underground fruiting of the pods.

This natural cultivation method in short supply chain ensures a seed with a rare nutritional density. A true superfood, French peanuts are an exceptional source of plant-based protein, magnesium and monounsaturated fatty acids (the "good fat").
