The Rise of Organic French Almonds in Southwest France
Inspired by the orchards of the Drôme Provençale, we successfully planted our first organic almond trees in 2017. It took a bit of patience before we saw the first fruits appear, but here we are, won over!
For your information, the almond tree blooms as early as February/March. The tree is therefore exposed in the South-West to very sensitive weather conditions (frosts, rains), which can significantly impact yields from year to year.
The organic shelled almond we offer comes from a French variety that is flat and elongated (Lauranne). It will charm you with its creamy and floral side. Our organic almonds can be enjoyed raw, roasted for the more indulgent, or transformed into almond milk or almond spread.
